A star has risen Dan Flavor his original names are Tumwesigye Daniel, the talented singer / performer from the pearl of Africa Uganda East Africa who shot to instant fame and recognition just after releasing his first single (Lwakionimba)an afro beat track that hit the waves of Uganda and East Africa in general.    He was recognized as one of the most sought-after performers on the Ugandan music landscape.

With a slate singles permeating radio and the Ugandan charts including Amulaba and Gwe wange created history when he became the first high school music competition  winner score a hit single on  chart in Uganda

"It's been a wonderful journey so far with both new and promising meetings, it is also a challenge but I love what I do so it becomes much easier, "Dan Flevor said when he was asked about the trip from being an unknown to a popular personality.

Dan Flavor growth as an artist and an individual since he shot the scene in 2009 is clearly his vocal chops have improved drastically, he is now headed by him self. And he has gained much respect from his peers "I have grown enormously and I am more confident in my performance My voice also seems more richer and I know exactly what it is I can, I think I have been respected from others because of the extensive work I have put in, "said Dan Flavor.

Dan was born on 10/03/1987 to parents RT Col Rushesha Paul and Theresa. He joined Batvalley primary school, later joined Kiryokya parents school,Katikamu SDA  he participated in various sports activities like football and he also participated in the school's Drama Festival where he won the best actor award in 2006 the same year he was named Mr. Flavor due to his vocal ability he had in school and performances.

In addition, Dan has won several prizes for singing in his high school in 2005 he was awarded the gold medal in Katikamu SDA Skills Competition in vocal, Dan Flavor graduated from Makerere university 2009 after having finishing his course in business administration, and he had released his single Amulaba.
Dan subsequent editions Conscience Jul included in Jam down featuring the Fire base crew, He has worked with a number of best Ugandan producers like Washington, Padyman, Tonny Houls  ,Kays and Q the DON of Tanzania.

He has appeared in a number of stage performances and events, functions entertainment events over Uganda and even overseas, one of his greatest successes in 2008 he traveled out of Uganda to US for his performance with goodlyfe in Chicago Illinois.

Dan's parents have been a source of his motivation to pursue his musical ambitions, "My parents and my friends at school really motivated me, they have  said that I would become a star, he said He said his main goal is to bring music and his interpretation of the music to further heights, "I want every household in the whole world to know and love my music and where I come from," Dan added
Dan Flavor is currently concentrating  on his new album entitled NATAMANI it has songs like Rudi Nyumbani,Meriana,Bwobaonjagala ,Ngamba Lero and on this album he has done projects with Ugandan artists like Mike Wine,Leila,Weasel and Radio, and some new projects to come with Tanzania’s most liked artists
